Kiralik Ask (Love for Rent) is getting a Latin American adaptation. Atlas Media’s general manager Göksu Akgün, who is undertaking the international distribution of Kiralik Ask (Love for Rent), which started broadcasting in Latin America in Chile and has attracted great attention in the country, told ttvnews that the adaptation will come from TelevisaUnivision in Chile.
“We are looking forward to seeing Love for Rent as a Latin American production,” Akgün said in a statement, adding: “Kiralik Ask (Love for Rent) is a summer production. There are summer and season productions in Turkey, so it was a big surprise that it was so successful. At first, the heroes of the story, Barış Arduç and Elçin Sangu, were not popular, but the gamble worked and the series was distributed in many regions, but it has not yet been properly distributed in Latin America.”
Written by Meriç Acemi and produced by Ortaks Yapım, Kiralik Ask (Love for Rent) was broadcast on Star TV for two seasons between 2015 and 2017 and lasted 69 episodes. The cast of the series includes names such as Barış Arduç, Elçin Sangu, Salih Bademci, Müjde Uzman, Seçkin Özdemir, Onur Büyüktopçu, Nergis Kumbasar, Levent Ülgen.
