The shooting of La Passion Turca (Turk Tutkusu) has started in Istanbul
The shooting of “La Passion Turca” (Turk Tutkusu), shot for the Spanish channel Antena 3, starring Ilker Kaleli and Maggie Civantos, has started in Kilyos. The Spanish team of the series completed the set preparations and started shooting. The Spaniards, who prefer Kilyos and Balat as the shooting locations in Istanbul, will complete some scenes of the production in Bursa and Edirne.
Burak Hakkı and Mariano Teres also joined the cast of the TV series La Passion Turca (Turk Tutkusu), in which İlker Kaleli was prepared in a five-week Spanish camp in Madrid, where he went in September. The crew of the series, which will be shot in Turkey until mid-December, will then work for three weeks in Madrid to complete the six-episode series.
Ilker Kaleli plays the antique dealer ‘Yaman’ and Maggie Civantos plays the fine arts teacher and art history researcher ‘Olivia’; It deals with adventure, action and passionate love on the Turkey-Spain line. The series, which will be broadcast in Europe and South America in the first place, is planned to reach other countries later on digital platforms.
Inaki Penafiel is the producer of the production, which is adapted from the novel of the same name written by writer Antonio Gala in 1993, and is produced by Montse Garcia, Sonia Martinez and Ampora Miralles.
