Prime Video held the premiere of its highly anticipated new domestic original film, Blue Cave, on Thursday, October 17. The premiere, held at Frankhan, brought together famous names from the art community such as Cansel Elçin, Gökhan Özoğuz, Lucas Torreira, Pınar Sabancı, Yasemin Özilhan, Zeynep Tuğçe Bayat. The decor and experience areas created based on the film provided a visual feast for the guests.

The gala began with a speech by Prime Video Turkey Country Manager Alptuğ Çopuroğlu. Çopuroğlu said, “On behalf of the entire Prime Video team, I would like to thank you for being with us tonight. Kerem Bürsin and Kemal Çömelek brought this project about two years ago. This love story, which seemed impossible at first in the scenario but later turned into eternity, touched us all. We felt that the evolution of Cem and Alara’s relationship would deeply touch the hearts of the audience. I would like to thank everyone who contributed.”

Speaking at the gala, Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios Northern Europe Original Productions President Tara Erer said; “When we first talked with Kerem Bürsin about this project, we were at the very beginning of the road. Kerem Bürsin, who played the lead role in the film and also signed the script, emphasized that this experience was a big step for him. Bürsin said, “I would like to thank the Prime Video team and everyone who contributed to this project since the first day, when it was just an idea. We wanted to tell a love story but from a different perspective. We believe that it is a very real and sincere film.”

Sharing the lead role with Kerem Bürsin, Devrim Özkan said, “The Blue Cave has a special place for me because it is my first film. We tried to present a sincere and natural world in this film. I cried a lot when I first read the script. I am very happy to be a part of this project with these beautiful people.
