Bestemsu Ozdemir is a Turkish TV series and film actress. She was born on April 20, 1992 in Istanbul. Originally from Erzincan, Bestemsu Ozdemir lived with her grandmother in Ankara after her parents’ divorce at the age of 2.5. Later, she returned to Istanbul with her mother and studied at Saint Benoît French High School. She completed her university education in Istanbul Technical University Fashion Design Department.

She could not go to school much due to an illness she suffered while preparing for exams and taking drawing lessons to study jewelry design at Mimar Sinan University. Later, she went to Mahir Güven’s workshop and devoted herself to charcoal and oil painting. When the department she wanted was closed that year, she prepared a portfolio in a record time of 1.5 months and entered Istanbul Technical University Fashion Design Department with second place. In this process, her interest in painting never diminished, and a sculpture was added next to it. Apart from acting, she sculpts and paints.

Ozdemir, who enrolled in an agency when she was in her third year of high school, modeled for Mavi, quit modeling shortly after. After meeting the manager Cem Tatlitug, she studied acting and gained her first acting experience in 2012 with the TV series Araf Zamani and Sakarya Firat. Afterwards, she continued her acting career with the TV series Istanbul Hatirasi, Kara Para Ask, Analar ve Anneler, Meryem, Ege’nin Hamsisi, Guvercin, Akrep, İkimizin Sirri.
