New Turkish Series From Netflix; “Uysallar”
Netflix; Ay Yapım released the trailer and first frames of the eight-part dysfunctional family black comedy Uysallar.
Uysallar is written by Hakan Günday and directed by Onur Saylak, just like Şahsiyet, which was previously prepared by Ay Yapım for a digital platform.
Starring Öner Erkan (Oktay Uysal), Songül Öden (Nil Uysal), Haluk Bilginer (Berhudar), Uğur Yücel (Olcay Uysal), the cast also includes Umut Yeşildağ (Ege Uysal), Nilay Yeral (Ece Uysal), Bilyana. Jovanovska (Sofia), Serkan Altunorak (Suat), İbrahim Selim (Mert), Nezaket Erden (Yağmur) The series signed by Ay Yapım will meet with the audience on March 30.
Uysallar; Set in the undiscovered streets of Istanbul with distorted urban transformation in 2020, and in the plaza and residences that continue to rise, it is the story of the questioning and awakening of upper middle class architect Oktay Uysal and his large family.
The Uysal family may seem like an ideal family, but they each have double lives that they hide from each other. As family members live the lives they dream of, unaware of each other, we meet their tragic, funny and dark sides.
Uysallar presents an alternative family story to the audience with the unidentified city visual of Istanbul in the background, while at the same time “When was the last time I was happy?” he will ask.
