Kara Sevda, which has been licensed to more than 110 countries so far, won the Best Telenovela award at the International Emmy Awards in 2016. While she received the “Best TV Series” award at the Seoul International Drama Awards, Neslihan Atagül Doğulu also won the “Best Actress” award. The series, which also included Burak Özçivit and Kaan Urgancıoğlu, was broadcast on Star TV between 2015 and 2017 and lasted 74 episodes. International distribution is undertaken by Inter Medya.
